I took this picture days ago as my daughter and I drew silly pictures in Kailua sands.

Thinking through what word I should write in a New Years post – I thought it very appropriate to welcome in the new year with a quote from two inspirational individuals: (1) Theodore Seuss Geisel better known as Dr. Seuss (2) Nelson Mandela.

(1) “I’ve heard there are troubles of more than one kind. Some come from ahead and some come from behind. But I’ve bought a big bat. I’m all ready you see. Happy New Years To All! May this year be filled with dreams becoming reality! May we each feel deeper, love more passionately, and daily spur ourselves and others to greatness!
