After finding out that I had to do some last minute patching and painting professionally for the rental we were leaving, I desperately searched Yelp for help. Literally the only business in Kailua that called me back was Trevor from TD Services, and not only was he warm and personable, he was helpful and caring.
I was set up with his business partner Derek, who was likewise very professional, friendly, and awesome, and he came over the very day and time I needed him at the last minute to get this job done. He was thorough, and the house looked like new after just a short time at work.
His prices were reasonable, and I was thrilled to find out that he has a range of services he and Trevor offer, which is such a relief because I know how to fix just about nothing. I will definitely be booking them again for my handyman and repair work around the house, and enthusiastically recommend them to the Windward side for help at anyone’s home or business. – Leah S (Kailua)

It is challenging to find reliable and excellent minor construction or handyman services. However, when I contact TDServicesHawaii / TDHandyman, I was not disappointed in Trevor’s professionalism and the quality of this work. Trevor did an AWESOME job installing our new toilet. He’s very honest and professional and goes out of his way to keep his word. He did more than expected, even caulking the tile under the sink cabinet where it was loose and explained how to use the new-fangled double flush toilet that we had installed. Also, even though he had a long day elsewhere he came and stayed late – and didn’t hesitate when we asked him if he could carry out and haul off a large broken air conditioner for us. After another handyman flaked on us, my husband found Trevor on Yelp and he had such great reviews that we had to try him out. Best decision ever! He has such great work ethic, coming by to assess our requests despite having to deal with having his truck stolen the night before! He was quick to give us a quote for the repairs and was able to repair our deck/walkway and clean out our gutters very efficiently and professionally! He even worked through his lunch break because he ran late that morning due to traffic on the Pali! He wanted to ensure that all the work was done within the time frame he gave us.
We appreciated his open communication via phone, text, and emails. We also asked him to assess other repairs that we may need and gave us all possible options keeping cost in mind. He is a jack of all trades, but isn’t afraid to let us know his limits and has other contractor friends in different areas (electrical, plumbing, etc.) that he can talk to if he needed a second opinion on something.
He was very nice to my 5 year old daughter when he was around (having 3 children of his own) and she keeps asking, “When is Uncle Trevor coming back to fix stuff again?” We will definitely hire him again soon and recommend him to all of our friends and family! Trevor was an honor to work with. As a retired USA Military personal, I appreciated his systematic approach, communication, organization, cleanliness, & work ethic.
Tasks Completed:
– Minor roof repair
– Gutter clean out & flush
– Down spout replacement
– Interior AC units (x11) filter & exterior
– Flushed AC units exterior drain piping
*While running AC test he multi-tasks on a few minor project.

+ he worked great around my grandchildren
+ he stayed on task while I went to Costco
I hope to schedule Trevor for a monthly gutter clean out alongside additional project.

Trevor Installed a rollup sliding screen door for us. It was a completed job that required special work in that the door area was not square and the existing door handles protruded our further than the existing frame work. So it required extra build up on the existing door frame. He also repaired and added new items on our lawn automatic sprinkler system.
Trevor goes beyond any other helper person we have ever had. We trust his advice and feel free not to be at home when he is doing his work. As we are in our mid seventies, Trevor has gained our trust and he demonstrates excellent communications to us. Thanks Trevor – Larry D (Big Island)

Totally EXCELLENT in every way: honest, experienced, good communicator, respectful & thorough!
Trevor responded to my phone call right away, set up an app’t, kept in touch via text, helped us prioritize our tasks, and set about getting them done. He constantly recommended various ways to approach our repairs, keeping cost savings to us in mind. He even texted while he was at Home Depot to see if we needed anything for our first job so that he could get to work right away & save us the cost of having him go shopping for parts during billable hours!
We have several more projects in line for him to do & wouldn’t go with anyone else. His honesty, communication & craftsmanship are top-notch!

I heard about Trevor from a mutual friend. I’ve had people in the past to help with small projects around our home and was never really satisfied. They would do work but then it would need repairing again soon. That’s why I’m so excited to recommend Trevor. After being flaked on by numerous handymen, Trevor exceeded my expectations in professionalism and communication. He recently helped with a few projects around our home as we were getting it ready for renters. Hanging and painting a new door, replacing an ancient cement sink and replacing it with a new one and dealing with old leaky plumbing, window washing, cleaning out gutters and ceiling lights, bathroom caulking, and power washing. Definitely a jack of all trades, very detail oriented, honest, problem solver, excellent communicator and overall looks out for your best interests.
